The Givenchy fashion house will feature on the Paris men's fashion week schedule for the fall/winter 2019-2020 season, Women's Wear Daily (WWD) reports, Thursday, October 25. The show will take place on January 16 at an as yet undisclosed location.
After staging a series of coed shows following the nomination of Clare Waight Keller in 2017, Givenchy is returning to a more "traditional" organization, with separate presentions for its men's and women's collections. From January, the French fashion house will return to the Paris runway to show its latest men's collection for the fall/winter 2019-2020 season.
According to the specialist website, WWD, this format is expected to be maintained for the spring/summer 2020 season, with a further men's show slated for June 2019.
Various fashion houses now stage single, coed catwalk shows presenting their men's and women's creations simultaneously. JW Anderson, Burberry, Emporio Armani, Philipp Plein, Celine and Stella McCartney are just some of the brands who opted for this approach at the most recent round of Fashion Weeks.
